Since 2023, OneSource EHS has been working with a global chemical manufacturer to completely redesign and modernize their Industrial Hygiene (IH) program for their North America sites. This project covers over 30 North America facilities and began with a comprehensive review and organization of historical exposure monitoring data across each site. OneSource worked closely with site and corporate stakeholders to develop detailed hazard inventories of various chemicals used in all areas of each facility. Exposure assessments were then conducted for each site, creating comprehensive risk profiles throughout the organization based off operational procedures and chemical exposure potential.
Using this data-driven foundation, OneSource developed site-specific, highly detailed IH sampling plans tailored to each facility’s processes and chemical usage. These plans clearly defined monitoring strategies for upcoming years, prioritized high-risk exposures, and established a consistent, scalable framework for ongoing compliance and risk management. The result was a unified and practical IH program that clarified exposure risks, strengthened compliance, and positioned the client for long-term, proactive management across their North American operations.
